People who love yarn know that baby alpaca is extremely soft en great to knit or crochet with. So do I! And Socialpaca surprised me with a few gorgeous skeins of baby alpaca wool. I will start a project soon.
Specifications
The skeins I received are a collaboration between Socialpaca and Millma & Qaytu. The yarn is handspun in Arequipa, Peru. The colors varies from the original color of the alpaca to dyed with natural materials like indigo. I chose the original colors of the alpaca. Even though the naturally dyed skeins also look beautiful! The yarn is so incredible soft, I just want to cuddle them all day long.
The skeins I received are NM2, it is a lace weight and yields 200 meters per 100 grams.
