The Traveling Afghan CAL knows many designers.. but square #18 is designed by the only man who’s participating in this CAL: Vincent van Visuvio’s Crafts. Vincent crochets and knits and added a crocheted square to this afghan. A nice design which fits in perfectly with the other squares.

Materials
As you all know this Traveling Afghan CAL is sponsored by Lion Brand. The original design is in one color, I use four. I use four pastel colors (green, grey, pink and beige), with Royal yarn from a Dutch store called Zeeman and crochet hook 6mm. I bought 10 skeins of every color. I’ve noticed I can make around 2,5 squares from one skein. I know I have to much yarn, but luckily this can be returned within the year.
Visuvio’s Crafts #18
This design is made by Vincent Williams from Georgia, The United States of America. I find this a simple but pretty design. The density of the square fits in perfectly with the other squares.. because some are more open or partial open. You crochet this square with chains and single crochet stitches. That’s it! A fine square for a starting crocheter. Click here to go to the pattern on Vincent’s blog.
