#13 Make and Do Crew Square

27 July 2020

It’s been a while since I posted an update with the new Traveling Afghan Square. The main reason was that I started testing a pattern for Little Golden Nook. But: that sweater is finished and the new square is here! I love these kind of design. You start with a circle and and up with a square and every round is different. Smart design!

You can find a total overview of all knitting and crochet patterns of this CAL at https://www.twoofwands.com/travelingafghans.

Materials

As you all know this Traveling Afghan CAL is sponsored by Lion Brand. The original design is in one color, I use four. I use four pastel colors (green, grey, pink and beige), with Royal yarn from a Dutch store called Zeeman and crochet hook 6mm. I bought 10 skeins of every color. I’ve noticed I can make around 2,5 squares from one skein. I know I have to much yarn, but luckily this can be returned within the year.

Make & Do Crew #13

The thirteenth square is design by Jess Coppom from Arizona, United States of America. Like I said, every round is different. In this particular square you crochet double crochet clusters and puff stitches. While crocheting there some sort of flower will appear who represents the creative life of Jess. Result

See here the result. I really like the set of circles on this square.
