#21 Rohn Strong Square

29 October 2020

I started the final four afghans in the Traveling Afghan CAL! Which means that we say goodbye to this lovely green color.. since I won’t use it again. This square is full with treble crochets.
Also before I thought Vincent from Visuvio’s Crafts was the only man in this CAL, but I was wrong. Rohn Strong is the other one!

You can find a total overview of all knitting and crochet patterns of this CAL at https://www.twoofwands.com/travelingafghans.

Materials

As you all know this Traveling Afghan CAL is sponsored by Lion Brand. The original design is in one color, I use four. I use four pastel colors (green, grey, pink and beige), with Royal yarn from a Dutch store called Zeeman and crochet hook 6mm. I bought 10 skeins of every color. I’ve noticed I can make around 2,5 squares from one skein. I know I have to much yarn, but luckily this can be returned within the year.

Rohn Strong #21

This square is designed by Rohn Strong from North Carolina, United States of Amerika. His blog is called Rohn Strong. This designs contains a lot of Treble Crochets. The first part was very hard for me, because I (still) can’t get it right.. so I left it like it was. But even though it’s not the same as Rohn’s design, I still like it :-).
