#20 Sewrella square

19 October 2020

Square 20 is done and that means there are only 4 squares left in this CAL! Eight more weeks and then we’ll start with finishing up this baby. I am so excited to see the endresult of this blanket!

You can find a total overview of all knitting and crochet patterns of this CAL at https://www.twoofwands.com/travelingafghans.

Materials

As you all know this Traveling Afghan CAL is sponsored by Lion Brand. The original design is in one color, I use four. I use four pastel colors (green, grey, pink and beige), with Royal yarn from a Dutch store called Zeeman and crochet hook 6mm. I bought 10 skeins of every color. I’ve noticed I can make around 2,5 squares from one skein. I know I have to much yarn, but luckily this can be returned within the year.

Sewrella #20

This square is designed by Ashleigh Kiser from North Carolina, United States of America. Her blog is called Sewrella and does more that just crocheting. Ze also knits and paints yarn that you can buy.

The square is easy to crochet, I finished two squares in one evening. I did add a border of single crochets, because I think this will come in handy when I crochet the squares together to one blanket. Click here to go to the pattern on Ashleigh’s blog.
