#23 Life and Yarn Square

14 December 2020

The second last square in the Traveling Afghan CAL! This time a design from Life and Yarn. I learned a new technique: crochet diamonds with front post treble stitches. Once you’ve figured it, you’ll finish this baby in a blink of an eye! Further more you will work with the moss stitch and bobbles.

You can find a total overview of all knitting and crochet patterns of this CAL at https://www.twoofwands.com/travelingafghans.

As you all know this Traveling Afghan CAL is sponsored by Lion Brand. The original design is in one color, I use four. I use four pastel colors (green, grey, pink and beige), with Royal yarn from a Dutch store called Zeeman and crochet hook 6mm. I bought 10 skeins of every color. I’ve noticed I can make around 2,5 squares from one skein. I know I have to much yarn, but luckily this can be returned within the year.

Life and Yarn #23

This square is design by Brianna Iaropoli from New York State, United States of America. The blog is called Life and Yarn and is full with (free) crochet pattern, which varies from clothing to (home) accessories. It’s a nice and simple design, a little bit of a brain teaser with the front post treble stitches and go! I did it and I am very happy with the result.
